1. Continue working with other local court officials to further improve the efficiency of our courts in Orange and Chatham Counties. Created a few years ago, the Judicial District Executive Council has functioned to improve communication among court officials. This important work must continue.
2. Continue learning and teaching. Judicial education – my own and that of others – is critically important to the success of the judiciary.
3. Continue teaching young students in Chatham and Orange Counties. Over the years of working with kids, I have learned that kids are inspired by meeting a judge or participating in a mock trial. I am committed to continuing to speak with kids to help inspire them and to teach them about the law and the courts.
